Save Money : Free half-hour sails are offered Sundays from 2pm to 3pm on a classic boat from the museum's fleet.
Look Good : The center offers many activities, sailing classes, workshops and volunteer activities.
The Extras : Boats in the fleet are available for rent--call for details.

If you're dying to get out in the water but can't afford a boat, the Center For Wooden Boats is the best way to go. Take advantage of one of Seattle's best features: Lake Union. Rent a rowboat or a sailboat, or sign up for a lesson.

I've never been to the Center for Wooden Boats during the day, so I can't speak to that aspect of the center. However, as a place to hold an evening event it is spectacular. The room is not large, it probably maxes out at 50-60 peopl...
