Teaser: The former Madhatter space has been cleaned up and turned into the Mighty Pint, where every drink comes in a pint glass.
: Metered street; Pay garage
: The Mighty Pint occupies the former site The Madhatter, which has relocated to 1319 Connecticut Avenue NW. Owner Reese Gardner overhauled the front bar to make it lighter, renovated the bathrooms and expanded the upstairs bar.
Know Before You Go
: If you're not into football, you might want to avoid the bar on Monday nights and weekends. Monday is "man day," when the Pint shows all football games and features $10 pitchers and $0.25 wings. Saturday afternoon, the bar shows Penn State games and offers $2 Miller Lite pints and other specials during game time. Steelers Sunday follows, with $10 Miller Lite and $12 Yuengling pitchers.
: You can plan corporate happy hours and other events at The Mighty Pint by getting in touch with Alex Gardner, marketing and special events coordinator.
: This is definitely a singles spot--for proof look no further than the his and hers "22oz of Love" cocktail; his is served with a condom and hers comes with a candy necklace.
